What's your technical background?
Matthew Baumann (aka "Mr Fantasy"), our shop foreman and principle, was VAG factory trained, and served as the shop foreman for a number of years at two Southern California Audi dealerships (as well an un-named aftermarket installation facility) before opening Raven Motorsports in 2009. He's worked on all models and has extensive experience with both factory and aftermarket troubleshooting and installation / repair routines.

I don't have flash! what do I do?
Our site's primary navigation is Flash-based. While this makes it easy for most to find their make / model of car, we know it can be an issue for the "flash-challenged" devices out there (such as the iPhone and iPad).

Can I place orders by phone?
Certainly! We've tried to make the website easy to use, however, if you feel better placing an order by phone, we're happy to oblige. Just give us a call at 562.495.1300

Do you match lower prices?
If you find it for less, give us a call and let's see what we can do. We try to offer the best prices possible to all our customers, whether for parts or service.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do. Please be aware that any customs or duty fees levied on purchases are the customer's responsibility. For more information, please contact your local FedEx or customs office. Orders returned for unpaid duties / customs fees are uneligible for a shipping refund.

What's the availability of products?
Processing of all items is subject to availability. to offer a large catalog, we work with our vendors and do not stock all products shown on the site. All products are, though, typically available to ship, and in the event that an item is not immediately avaiable, we will do all we can to expidite your order.

Do you offer will call services?
Yes. We are happy to hold orders for customers here at the shop. No shipping charges will be levied for will-call orders. Please contact us directly if you wish to pick up yoru order personally.

What shipping methods do you use?
We offer a variety of shipping methods from FedEx and the US Postal Service, including ground home and commercial delivery, and 3-day, 2-day, and overnight expidited services. We also use FedEx international and USPS priority mail. The availability of shipping methods is contingent upon the shipping location, and not all methods may be available for all orders.

Please note that shipping services affect only the transit time of a package after it's been processed and shipped. Selecting expidted shipping will not affect the amount of time it may take to physically process the order prior to shipping it out.

How do you calculate shipping prices?
Our shipping prices take into account the shipping address, the weight of the shipment, dimensional weight, materials requirements and service type.

When will my order ship?
All orders are subject to availability. Items will ship as soon as they are available, and we do all we can to ensure as efficient processing as possible.

Do all orders ship from your shop?
No. We are unable to inventory all the products that we offer on our site (to do so would require a shop much bigger than ours, and a wallet MUCH fatter!). Many times, items will ship directly from the vendor to our customers. Rest assured that you will only be charged according to the shipping method you select during checkout, and will not pay any additional drop-shipping charges for this service.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Cash is also accepted for those picking up orders in person at the shop.

Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax will be charged only on orders destined for shipping addresses in California. These addresses are subject to a 9.75% sales tax, compliments of Los Angeles country. Thanks, Uncle Sam!

What is your return policy?
We will accept returns provided that prior authorization is obtained and that returned merchandise is received within 3 weeks of delivery. All returned merchandise must be in new condition, with all original tags, packaging, accessories, and documentation. Once received, we will inspect returned items, verify that they accord to the above requirements, and issue a refund of item totals plus associated sales tax. Shipping charges are generally not refunded, unless we shipped something in error. Special order items are not eligible for return.

Do you charge restocking fees?
We reserve the right to charge restocking fees equivalent to (up to) 20% of the order value. If an item is subject to a restocking fee, we will attempt to make this clear within the product description. While we are dilligent about this, we cannot be responsible for typographical errors that may be present on the site. Restocking fees may also be charged in the event of shipping refusals or unauthorized / incomplete returns.

Do you offer refunds on shipping charges?
We do not typically refund shipping charges unless a mistake was made on our part (if we shipped the wrong item, for instance) or unless prior approval is given by a Raven Motorsports customer service representative.

How can I exchange an item?
The easiest way to exhange an item is simply to place a new order for the item you do want, and ship the exhange item back to us. We will charge you for the new shipment, however, we will credit the amount of the item cost when the original item is returned.

what if an item is defective / damaged?
We cannot be responsible for damage due to shipping or transit. Claims for damaged shipments should be made with the shipping company within 5 days of receipt. Product should not be opened or used until inspected by the shipping company, and all packaging materials should likewise be retained for inspection. Claims for damaged shipments must be initated by the customer.

If an items arrives defective, we will glady replace it free of charge, after we have inspected it and deem it defective due to manufacture and not due to installation error or misuse / abuse. If you believe a part is defective, please contact us and we'll see what we can do.

Do you warranty products you sell?
Warranty of all products is determined by the manufacturer according to the manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions, if any, and is typically subject to return and inspection by the manufacturer. Return, repair or replacement may occur only after inpection or approval by the manufacturer, and the customer is responsible for all associated shipping charges. We advise customers to retain invoices and receipts in the event such are needed for warranty claims with the product manufacturer.

Is my personal information safe?
All of your personal information is safe and secure with us at Raven Motorsports. We do not store sensitive information, and all information that is passed to our servers is done so with the latest SSL encryption to protect from unauthorized use. You'll know you're connection is secure when you see the "lock" icon in the address bar or to the lower right of your browser window.

Our privacy policy is simple: we do not share, sell, or otherwise distribute your personal information with anyone, at any time, under any circumstances. As far as we're concerned, it's called "personal" for a reason.
